Spencer earned a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked in the oil and gas industry from 2001 to 2017.
Spencer is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
Spencer was the President of Spring Creek from 2017 until 2024 when Grant Tompkins took over day to day responsibility for Spring Creek.
Since then Spencer has been consulting in the oil and gas industry.
